Does my business have to be a registered company?
The awards are open to all types of business including sole traders, registered companies and partnerships.
Which categories should I enter?
The criteria for each category are posted on this website. If you are unsure which category is most applicable then apply for more than one (give yourself a better chance of success). Remember to tailor your entry form to the category you are entering. If you only enter one category and the other entrants in that category are strong you have a lesser chance of being a finalist.
When can I enter?
Entries are accepted now until the advertised deadline for each individual Business Award. Short-listed applicants for the final may be requested to supply additional material or allow members of the judging panel to visit their premises after this deadline.
How long will the entry form take to complete?
We suggest that entries are not more than 500 words long so however much time it takes to write this much. This is the only opportunity to impress the judges so it is worth spending as much time as you can spare.
Where do I send my completed application form to?
Completed entries should be attached to an Entry form and sent to Business Awards, Media House, 539 High Road, Ilford, Essex, IG1 1UD to arrive no later than the advertised deadline.
Can I complete an entry form on-line?
Yes, entries will be accepted both hardcopy and online. Please click here to access the online entry form please contact marketing enquires if you have any questions.
Can I change or withdraw my entry?
If you submit your entry early you are welcome to retrieve it for alterations and additions or remove it from consideration.
Can I nominate another business?
Yes you can and we would suggest you nominate successful businesses in your supply chain (great marketing and customer relations).
I have nominated someone else, should I let them know?
We will be contacting them but it is best if you notify them they have been entered. We will also make sure that your name and address is on the 'Entry Header' form in the Nominators section so that we can let them know who has nominated them.
